Todays blog post is about Carol and Wills beautiful Autumn wedding that took place last September.
The wedding took place just outside the picturesque village of Holmes Chapel set in the stunning Cheshire countryside.
A marquee was put up on Carols dads farm for the reception, I was set with the challenge of decorating it with floral designs along with the bridal party.
I was excited when I learnt it was an old fashioned marquee with poles both me and Carol really wanted to use them in our decoration, and came up with the idea of creating two heavy floral garlands to wrap around each pole. We were both over the moon with the result.
We used a mixture of flowers to create the designs including Roses, Spray Cars, Hypericum, Ranunculus, Viburnum, Gypsophilla, and lots of Eucalyptus and red foliage's. The colours complimented each other perfectly with Golds, Yellows, Creams, peaches and greens, the perfect shades for a Autumnal wedding.
We also created rustic little milk churn designs for each table and larger milk churns to frame the door way into the marquee. The perfect choice for a country wedding.
I also had the pleasure of creating Carols Hand tied for her to hold, she went with a natural tied design with matching flowers, with a country/rustic look. Carol also had a lovely little flower girl, I created a little wicker basket for her also to hold, and matching peach buttonholes for the bridal party.
I hope you enjoyed reading today blog, about a wedding I had so much pleasure being involved in, please have a look through the photos of the big day.
