Congratulations to Rachel and Rich who married this weekend at Audlem church, followed by a marquee reception at the family farm near Market Drayton, a lovely setting this sunny bank holiday weekend.
I loved working with the couple to organise and design their wedding flowers, being part of such a beautiful wedding was a pleasure. Rachel had decided on a dusty lilac and purple theme with silver touches, a really pretty colour pallet to work with. With her bridesmaids wearing a silvery mauve colour, she wanted the flowers to be soft and feminine with a country aspect throughout. Together we decided on the Amnesia rose to use throughout the wedding, a silvery purple rose, it matched perfectly against the girls dresses, and had a slight vintage look to it.

Rach decided on a hand tied style for her bouquet, made up of mostly Amnesia roses with touches of the cream roses as well. She also selected cream peony for herself witch really made the bouquet extra special. Other flowers used in the bouquet were lilac and cream spray rose, and touches of dried lavender, gypsophilla, and green bell, finally I used touches of Eucalyptus and Asparagus fern to soften the design. I tied the bouquet with hessian and a pretty lavender bow with trailing tails, I was very pleased with the final look.

Rachel had 5 bridesmaids who all looked stunning in their dresses, I made sure that the flowers were soft and delicate in colour to compliment the mauve dresses.

Rachel and Rich had two beautiful little flower girls, I created wands for them to hold, and they looked really affective, I used lilac and purple ribbon to create a two toned effect, I finished the wand with a bow and tails.

The church looked beautiful for the occasion, I decorated the pews with wicker hearts and lilac ribbon, each with a spray of roses and gypsophilla. I also set up a pedestal at either end of the church, I used purple delphinium, and bells of Ireland to add height to both designs.

The marquee looked stunning with beautiful draping and crystal chandeliers, It was a large wedding filled with family and friends with a total of 20 tables. The Marquee had views of the farm land from every angle it truly was the perfect setting for a classy country wedding. I created large centrepieces for each table on beautiful crackle vases, I used tall pussy willow, steel grass and willow to create height in the marquee and make an impact. I created a compact posy on each vase including stunning vintage purple hydrangea, Amnesia roses, cream roses, spray roses, lilac Lisianthus, dried lavender, and touches of gypsophilla. The foliage's I used were flowing and soft including Asparagus fern, trailing ivy, Eucalyptus and finally leather leaf.

I made pretty little decorated jam jars to dot around the marquee they looked really sweet and added something extra to the table. I also created a large top table design in matching flowers.

Again congratulations to the happy couple, thank you for asking me to do the flowers, I absolutely loved designing and creating your designs for your big day.
