Last year I had the pleasure of supplying the flowers for John and Vickie on there wedding day. Vickie came to me with little time to plan her wedding, however she already had a good idea of what she wanted, I was happy to help her along with her planning.
Vickie loved Lavender and wanted to bring the colour and the flower throughout the wedding, with it being October we weren't able to use the fresh flower but I sourced dried Lavender and it worked a treat, and created a gorgeous smell.
The wedding was small and intermit and held at a lovely little church in Baddiley, the flowers I used were Hydrangea, Roses, Eustoma, Thistle, Gypsophilla and of course dried lavender, we also used lots of lovely foliage's and especially Ivy to create a flowing look in the church. The pew ends were decorated, along with the windows and pulpit, we created a layered look here with different sized arrangements, have a look at the pictures attached.
The Reception was held at the Combermere Abby in Burleydam, I absolutely loved working with this wedding venue, it was so beautiful. The Wedding breakfast was held in the glass house, this room has breath taking views of the grounds, we decorated the tables with decorated jam jars, on mirror plates, jam jars were placed throughout the room also, along with pedestal arrangements.
For her bouquet, Vickie went for a handheld bouquet with natural stems, she went for white roses, lavender Eustoma, and dried lavender throughout, the final result was very elegant and pretty.
It was my pleasure to be involved in John and Vickie's Wedding, I loved bringing her visions to life and being involved in there big day.
I was overwhelmed to see Vickie's fabulous feedback she left for me on my facebook page, THANKYOU VICKIE!
"Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Ruth for the brilliant job she did of providing the stunning flowers at our wedding. She decorated both the church and the wedding venue beautifully. Throughout the whole process she was highly professional; listened carefully to what I wanted and provided creative and inspired ideas. I can't recommend her highly enough. Thank you Ruth. Xx"
