I was over the moon to be asked to supply Laura and Gary's wedding flowers, their wedding took place last Friday at Wrenbury Hall. The venue is set in the Cheshire country side just on the outskirts of the small village of Wrenbury, you will find the hall down the long private drive and set within its own stunning grounds, it feels very secluded and private.
Laura and Gary chose a lilac and purple colour theme with silver tones, we used lots of gorgeous seasonal spring flowers to create the bouquets and buttonholes. The Bridesmaids wore a deep purple colour and the maids of honour wore lilac.
We used Ranunculus in different shades including blush, lilac and white, Lilac Roses, Clematis, Veronica, Stocks, Brunia, Lavender and wax flower, I arranged the bouquets in a country style with lots of floating ferns and Eucalyptus. One of my favourite touches was the little silver succulents I added to the bouquets- a special request from the bride, I think this added something a little different and worked really well.
The buttonholes matched the bridal flowers, a lilac Rose with a spring of Eucalyptus and Lavender.
Their wedding day was a beautiful spring day with sunshine throughout, I went early to set up at the hall, their wedding reception took place in the glamorous Orangery and it looked fabulous.
Gary had made all of the stands for the centrepieces and they looked really professional and impressive, the height of the stands was perfect and really made an impact in the room. On top of each stand I created a large round arrangement, quite loose and in a relaxed country style with matching flowers to the bouquets, to finish off the look we hung globe candles from the centre. One of my favourite looks to date.
Finally I would love to say Congratulations to the happy couple :)
